At Ymbite, we understand that sometimes you may need to cancel your order. While we aim to make the cancellation process as simple as possible, please note that food preparation begins shortly after an order is placed — so timing is important.
You may cancel your order in the following conditions:
✅ Before the restaurant accepts or starts preparing your order — full refund eligible (for pre-paid orders).
❌ After the restaurant has started preparing your food — cancellation may still be possible, but no refund will be issued.
❌ After the order has been picked up by the delivery partner — cancellation is not allowed.
To cancel an order:
Open the Ymbite app or website.
Go to Order History.
Select the order and tap on "Cancel Order".
If eligible, your cancellation will be processed instantly.
For pre-paid orders cancelled before food prep starts, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method or Ymbite Wallet within 3–5 business days.
For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, no charges apply if cancelled in time.
If cancellation is made after food is prepared, no refund will be processed, even for pre-paid orders.
In rare cases, your order may be cancelled by Ymbite or the restaurant due to:
Restaurant unavailability
Delivery partner issues
Technical/system errors
In such cases, you’ll be notified immediately, and any payment made will be refunded in full.
Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in temporary suspension or restrictions on your Ymbite account.
